CMIA is committed to being a socially responsible investor and corporate
citizen. We invest in companies that:
- adopt good environment policies and practices
- produce safe and useful products
- support efforts to promote the well-being of the local community
The other key aspect of our commitment is expressed by our charity
initiative. Through our charitable giving programs, we are able to help
charity organisations in assisting their beneficiaries. For 2008/9, our
designated charities are:
- Building Schools in Putian City, Fujian
Province: As of now, CMIA has worked with the people of
Putian to set up 3 schools. CMIA hopes that by providing such
schools for the children of Putian, we would give them an
opportunity for a meaningful and beneficial education. With this
education we hope the children can strive to greater heights and
achieve their dreams.
