CMIA seeks to invest in mid-sized companies in China and Southeast Asia with the potential to become industry or market leaders. Our representative investments include:

Shengrui is an industry leader in the manufacturing of core diesel engine components of commercial vehicles, such as those used in the construction and agriculture industries. Shengrui's larger customers include Caterpillar, International Truck & Engine Corporation, Samro and Weichai Power (the largest domestic diesel engine manufacturer in China).
CMIA was instrumental in helping Shengrui identify, negotiate, conduct due diligence and execute an acquisition target in Germany with intellectual properties in automatic gearbox transmission systems. This alleviated Shengrui's position to an industry leader in China. CMIA also provided strategic counsel and advice on financing strategies for business growth and establishing corporate governance and institutional best practices.

Haifu is a global leader in HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) cancer treatment technology, with an existing portfolio of 17 patents (7 international) and another 40 patents pending in HIFU technology. Haifu's cancer treatment equipment is CE-certified in the European Union and is pending US FDA approval. Haifu is also collaborating with Siemens Medical Solutions of Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) to develop a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)-guided HIFU therapy system.
CMIA was the lead investor in the growth capital round of financing. In addition, CMIA introduced several foreign medical institutions for R&D, business collaborations and overseas expansion. CMIA also advised on corporate governance and worked closely with Haifu on its domestic IPO plans.

Yingli is Chongqing's leading commercial real estate company. Yingli has developed and owns Grade "A" commercial buildings in Chongqing's financial district. The company has proven success in the regeneration and reconstruction of old cities, a key competitive advantage given Chongqing's ancient heritage.
Today, Yingli is Chongqing's leading commercial real-estate player, thanks to CMIA's support in financing and structuring the company's reverse-takeover on the Singapore Exchange in 2009. CMIA has also assisted in Yingli's international equity & capital fund raisings.
