Peter Choo Chee Kong is Senior Advisor to CMIA Capital Partners.

Peter Choo Chee Kong has a wealth of experience in the finance industry with more than 20 years in private equity.

Choo co-founded Westcomb Financial Group Limited (“Westcomb Group”) and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 2000-2006 and later as Deputy Chairman from 2006-2008.

Prior to founding the Westcomb Group, Choo was with DBS Bank for 14 years. He was in charge of the marketing and distribution functions, and oversaw the relationship management of the bank with the stock broking and investment community.

Over the years, Choo has earned strong accolades in the investment banking industry and his cumulative knowledge and experience on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is highly sought after in the region. In his career, Choo was involved in the successful listing of more than 200 companies from six different countries, namely Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan and Australia.

Peter Choo Chee Kong obtained his Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honors) in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool University and also holds a Master of Business Administration from Bradford University.
