Lee Li Meng

Lee Li Meng is the Executive Director of CMIA Capital Partners and is based in CMIA’s Singapore office.

Lee Li Meng brings to CMIA Capital Partners more than 8 years of experience in corporate and leveraged finance.

Starting his career well ahead of his peers, Lee forayed into the finance industry before graduation. During his university days in New York, Lee interned at UOB Global Capital, a global asset management affiliate of the UOB Group where he worked full-time during his first two summer holidays and part-time during his sophomore and junior years.

Lee also interned at J.P. Morgan in Hong Kong during his junior year summer holiday and was given a full-time returning offer post graduation, where he spent 8 years honing his capabilities.

At J.P. Morgan, Lee was initially part of the Asia Debt Capital Markets team based in Hong Kong. His responsibilities included the origination and execution of G3 currency bonds by Asian issuers and leveraged finance transactions where he was involved in debt raisings of over US$20 billion for sovereigns and corporations across Asia.

In late 2006, Lee relocated back to Singapore and was given primary responsibility for the origination and execution of leveraged buyouts financings, situational finance and high yield, as well as mezzanine debt transactions for South East Asia clients - he was the only team member based outside of Hong Kong at that time.

In 2008, Lee took on a broader role with coverage responsibilities for Singapore-listed and private companies and providing these companies with advice on debt, equity and M&A transactions before he finally joined CMIA Capital Partners.

Lee Li Meng holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research, with a Minor in Economics, from Columbia University, New York.
